We look at the existing footing, soil and services and say whether underpinning or benching suits the house.

Where the work is close to a neighbouring structure, that is identified and handled before digging.
Sequenced excavation
Dug and poured in the alternating sections the design specifies, never all at once.
Forming, rebar and pours
Each pin formed, reinforced and poured to the engineered depth and width.
Drainage and waterproofing
New weeping tile, sump and interior waterproofing installed while the floor is open.
New slab
Granular base, vapour barrier and a new concrete floor poured over the completed pins.
Spoil removal
Excavated material removed from the property, which on an underpinning job is a lot of it.
