Free in-person consultation and estimate

We come to the property in person, look at the work and give you an estimate at no cost and no obligation.

Step 1 of 7 · Question 1 of 1

What does the cottage need? (required)

A real person responds within 24 hours.

What’s included

This is the work itself, item by item. If your job does not need one of these, it is not on your estimate.

  • Site and access assessment

We look at road access, services and what can realistically be delivered to the property.

  • Foundation and levelling

Piers, posts and beams checked and corrected where a seasonal building has settled.

  • Envelope repair

Roof, windows, doors and cladding addressed before anything inside is finished.

  • Insulation for year-round use

Walls, roof and floor upgraded where the goal is four-season occupancy.

  • Plumbing and winterization

Lines, pumps and shut-offs arranged so the building can be drained, by our plumbing partner.

  • Septic and well coordination

We work with the approved installers and the local health unit where those systems are involved.

  • Interior finishing

Drywall or board, flooring, trim, kitchen and bathroom work.

  • Shoreline and permit awareness

Work near water can need conservation authority approval, and we identify that early.

How it runs

Every job we take on follows the same sequence, from the first call to the walkthrough.

  1. Tell us about the property

Where it is, how it is serviced, and whether it is used seasonally or year-round.

  2. We call you back

Within 24 hours, to understand access, services and the season you want it ready for.

  3. Site visit and written estimate

We assess structure, envelope and services on site, and quote in writing.

  4. Approvals where they apply

Building permit, and conservation authority or health unit approval where the work triggers it.

  5. Envelope and structure first

Foundation, roof, windows and cladding, so the building is dry before interior work.

  6. Services and insulation

Plumbing, electrical and heating by our trade partners, then insulation and air sealing.

  7. Interior finishes and walkthrough

Drywall, flooring, trim and fixtures, then a walkthrough and the deficiency list closed.

That is the whole job. Tell us about yours and we will price it — a real person calls you back within 24 hours.
