Surface assessment
We identify what is actually failing, since paint over a wet or rotten substrate fails again.
Washing and surface preparation
Surfaces cleaned, chalking removed, and glossy areas dulled so the coating bonds.
Scraping and sanding
Loose and peeling coating removed and edges feathered rather than painted over.
Wood repair and filling
Rotted trim and siding sections replaced and filled before priming.
Caulking and sealing
Joints, trim and openings sealed with an exterior sealant that stays flexible.
Priming
Bare and repaired areas primed with a product suited to the substrate.
Finish coats
The number of coats the product requires, applied in the temperature range it allows.
Protection and clean-up
Windows, roofs, walks and planting covered, and the site cleaned at the end of each day.
