Roof and ceiling survey
We check the rafter layout and what is in the attic before choosing a location.
Unit selection
Fixed, vented or solar-operated units, and sun tunnels where a full skylight will not fit.
Opening and framing
The roof and ceiling opened and the opening framed and headed properly.
Flashing kit installation
The manufacturer's flashing kit for your roof covering, which is what keeps it from leaking.
Light shaft construction
The shaft framed, insulated, vapour-sealed and drywalled from the roof to the ceiling.
Insulation and air sealing
Shaft walls insulated and sealed so the skylight does not drip with condensation.
Replacement of failed units
Old skylights removed and replaced, with the surrounding roofing reinstated.
Interior finishing
Ceiling and shaft finished, taped, primed and painted.
