Hybrid and backup heat
Pairing with a furnace or electric backup, with the changeover set sensibly.
Electrical capacity check
Panel and service capacity assessed before the equipment is ordered.
Outdoor unit siting
Placed clear of snow drift and drips, on a raised stand, with defrost water directed away.
Line sets and condensate
Refrigerant lines run and insulated, and condensate drained properly.
Controls and changeover
Thermostat configured so the system runs economically rather than defaulting to backup.
Commissioning and documentation
Charge, airflow and operation verified, and the paperwork left with you for rebate purposes.
