Floor assembly review
We check the build-up, the height available and the finished floor before choosing a system.
Electric mat and cable
In-floor heating mats and loose cable installed under tile and suitable finishes.
Hydronic tubing
PEX tubing laid in slabs, plates or panels to a designed layout.
Insulation under the system
Insulation below the heated layer so the heat goes up instead of into the ground.
Manifolds and zoning
Manifolds, pumps and zone valves installed and labelled by room.
Heat source connection
Boiler or water heater connection by our plumbing and gas partners.
Controls and sensors
Floor sensors and thermostats installed and configured, wired by our electrical partner.
Pressure and continuity testing
Tubing pressurised and cable resistance measured before and after the floor goes down.
Commissioning
The system brought up slowly and each zone confirmed working.
