We come to the property in person, look at the work and give you an estimate at no cost and no obligation.

Step 1 of 7 · Question 1 of 1

Which room is the wall in? (required)

A real person responds within 24 hours.

What’s included

This is the work itself, item by item. If your job does not need one of these, it is not on your estimate.

  • Design and elevations

We draw the wall to scale, with the screen position, the cabinetry and the panel lines settled before anything is cut.

  • Wall preparation and blocking

Reinforcement built into the wall so the weight of the television lands on solid backing rather than on drywall.

  • Condo walls without studs

A concrete or block wall has nothing to screw into, so the unit is anchored to the structure and the cable routes are planned around it.

  • Built-in millwork and floating cabinetry

Base units, drawers and floating shelves built to the approved drawing, then levelled and scribed to the wall you actually have.

  • Acoustic wood slat panelling

Slats set out so the joints fall where they should, cut cleanly around the screen opening, outlets and vents.

  • Lighting and power

LED backlighting, ambient light under the cabinetry and a recessed outlet behind the screen, wired by our electrical partner.

  • The ESA notification

Electrical work in Ontario is reported to the Electrical Safety Authority before it starts, and the electrical contractor doing the work files it.

  • Screen mounting and hidden cabling

The television hung on the mount the wall was built for, with power and signal cables run inside the build and nothing on show.

  • Ventilation for the equipment

Closed cabinetry gets airflow and cable access, so a receiver or a console is not sealed into a box with nowhere for the heat to go.

  • Electric fireplace where you want one

The opening framed and finished to the clearances the manufacturer sets, with the connection made by our electrical partner.

How it runs

Every job we take on follows the same sequence, from the first call to the walkthrough.

  1. Tell us about the wall

The room, the width of the wall, the size of the television and whether you want slats, lighting or a fireplace.

  2. We call you back

Within 24 hours, to understand the room and what the wall has to carry.

  3. Site visit and written estimate

We measure the wall, find out what is behind it and where the power is, then quote the scope in writing.

  4. Drawings and selections

An elevation you approve, with the panel layout, the finishes and the lighting decided before we order anything.

  5. Preparation and electrical

Blocking and reinforcement go in, and our electrical partner runs the lighting and the outlet behind the screen.

  6. Build and installation

Panelling, cabinetry and shelving fitted, then the television hung and every cable run inside the wall.

  7. Walkthrough

We power it up with you, check the screen sits level and the lighting does what you asked for, then close out the list.

That is the whole job. Tell us about yours and we will price it — a real person calls you back within 24 hours.
