Free in-person consultation and estimate

We come to the property in person, look at the work and give you an estimate at no cost and no obligation.

Step 1 of 7 · Question 1 of 1

What would you like lit? (required)

A real person responds within 24 hours.

What’s included

This is the work itself, item by item. If your job does not need one of these, it is not on your estimate.

  • Lighting plan

We plan what is lit and why, rather than spacing fixtures evenly and hoping.

  • Low-voltage systems

Transformer, cable runs and fixtures sized so the far end is as bright as the near end.

  • Line-voltage work

Any 120-volt wiring is performed by our electrical partner and inspected by the ESA.

  • Path and step lighting

Walkways, steps and level changes lit for safety without glare.

  • Facade and tree lighting

Uplights and wash fixtures aimed to show the house rather than blind the street.

  • Deck and patio lighting

Post, rail and recessed fixtures integrated into the structure.

  • Cable burial and protection

Runs buried to depth and protected where they cross beds and lawn.

  • Controls

Timers, photocells and app control set up and demonstrated.

How it runs

Every job we take on follows the same sequence, from the first call to the walkthrough.

  1. Tell us what you want lit

Paths, the house, trees, the deck, or the whole property.

  2. We call you back

Within 24 hours, to talk through use, safety and the look you want.

  3. Site visit and written estimate

We walk the property, ideally after dark, and quote the scope in writing.

  4. Design and fixture selection

Layout, fixture types and control method agreed.

  5. Locates and cable runs

Utility locates completed, then cable routed and buried.

  6. Installation and connection

Fixtures set and connected, with line-voltage work done by our electrical partner.

  7. Night aiming and handover

We return after dark to aim and dim, then show you the controls.

That is the whole job. Tell us about yours and we will price it — a real person calls you back within 24 hours.

What clients said about this work

    Hardscaping

I had a clumsily hardscaped back and side yard and deck built with interlock. The interlocks were old and worn out to direct all stormwater towards the foundation of the house rather than away. I was looking for someone to remove all the stuff and install interlock tiles nicely to direct all water away from the foundation. A few guys visited me for the project but they either did not understand the work properly or were not interested to do my work as it required a lot of patience and detailing (especially while removal). Guys at Behfar Building. Construction took time to understand the requirements and did an excellent job.

Wood deck, fence and outdoor stairs

I had my hot tub removed and needed someone to repair my deck and also repair my 25 years old fence, deck and stairs. They did a great job with a reasonable price. They also repaired some of the small damaged spots that I hadn't noticed at all and they did it with no extra cost for me. I recommend their service for all outdoor wood works.
