What’s included
This is the work itself, item by item. If your job does not need one of these, it is not on your estimate.
Siting, setbacks and permit check
Where the structure can go, how big it can be, and whether your municipality needs a permit for it.
Footings and anchoring
Posts set on proper footings or anchored to an existing deck or slab that can take them.
Gazebo construction
Octagonal and rectangular gazebos in cedar, pressure-treated wood or aluminum, roofed and railed.
Pergolas and shade structures
Posts, beams and rafters, with open slats, adjustable louvres, polycarbonate or fabric over them.
Sheds and outbuildings
Floor, walls and roof built on a proper base, with doors and windows fitted.
Outdoor kitchens
Frames, counters, cladding and appliance openings built for outdoor use.
Garden beds and planting around it
Beds cut, edged and planted so the structure sits in the garden rather than on top of it.
Preparing the outdoor living area
The surface underneath levelled and finished, and the approach to it made usable in wet weather.
Electrical
Outdoor-rated lighting, fans and receptacles installed by our electrical partner.
Finishing
Stained, painted or left to weather, with fasteners suited to the material.

What clients said about this work
5 out of 5 Hardscaping
I had a clumsily hardscaped back and side yard and deck built with interlock. The interlocks were old and worn out to direct all stormwater towards the foundation of the house rather than away. I was looking for someone to remove all the stuff and install interlock tiles nicely to direct all water away from the foundation. A few guys visited me for the project but they either did not understand the work properly or were not interested to do my work as it required a lot of patience and detailing (especially while removal). Guys at Behfar Building. Construction took time to understand the requirements and did an excellent job.

I had my hot tub removed and needed someone to repair my deck and also repair my 25 years old fence, deck and stairs. They did a great job with a reasonable price. They also repaired some of the small damaged spots that I hadn't noticed at all and they did it with no extra cost for me. I recommend their service for all outdoor wood works.
