  • Measurement and Code check

    Rise, run, headroom and guard heights measured against what the Building Code requires.

  • New stair construction

    Stringers, treads and risers built and installed for a new or relocated stair.

  • Recapping existing stairs

    Carpeted stairs capped with hardwood treads and risers over the existing structure.

  • Refinishing

    Existing treads and handrails sanded, stained and refinished.

  • Squeak and structure repair

    Loose treads, failed glue blocks and moving stringers fixed rather than covered.

  • Railings and guards

    Wood, metal or glass guards built to the height and opening limits the Code sets.

  • Newels, posts and handrails

    Posts anchored properly so the railing does not move when you lean on it.

  • Trim and finish

    Skirt boards, nosings and trim finished so the stair reads as one piece.

    Treads, risers, guards and handrails installed and secured.

  7. Finishing and walkthrough

    Sanded, finished and walked with you, railing and all.
